Banned Books Week (Sep 25th – Sep 28th) the annual celebration of the freedom to read: Celebrating at CIS with virtual read-out and theatre performances! Celebrate Banned Books Week with CIS! Ask our librarian for more information. Banned Books Week is an annual event encouraging the freedom to read. Generally organized in the last week of September, it focuses on the value of free and open access to information. Banned Books Week brings the entire book community; librarians, booksellers, publishers, journalists, teachers, and readers of all types, together on one platform to share and freely express ideas even those which are considered as ostracized or unusual.
CIS is a culturally-rich mosaic, serving each student by providing a world-class international education, nurturing potential, developing life-long skills, and preparing students for an ever-changing global community.
